Year In Review: 2018

I was surrounded by friends who spoke of hardship, change, and the need for strength in 2018. It was a truly tough year for many and I was no exception. However, difficulty for me, was not imposed from the outside but instead from a deep rooted fear in my soul. Fear of success, fear of greatness, fear of what would happen if I loved myself. This year, my weapons against that fear were rhinestones, lingerie, and soaring music. I finally got on stage comfortable in my skin and my sound. The audience (you!), have greeted me with shimmy shakes, open arms, and laughter - That energy drives me and keeps me pursuing this art. 2018 was a year of discovery, self-love, and tons of firsts. Thank you to all who supported my premiere album, Nine Tales. Thinking of you wiggling in your cars and homes makes me giggle with joy!

Here are some of my goals for 2019, I'll check back in at the end of the year and we'll see how much I accomplished:

-Release an EP for Valentine's Day (cause i love you!)

-Create at least 3 new burlesque acts

-Play an out of state show

-Mess with gender as a Drag King

-Shoot a music video

-Release another electroswing / swing house EP

Thank you so much for your support. It means more to me than you could ever know.
